The #1 Lesson of 2025 (That Most People Still Avoid)
In this business most who fail will tell you the one thing they didn't do was make calls.
They're out of the business because they avoided one small, uncomfortable action.
In 2025 I watched it happen again and again.
Smart people waited.
They planned.
They reorganized lists.
They took one more course.
They scrolled.
They told themselves they were ‘getting ready’.
And nothing changed.
Here's the uncomfortable truth.
None of the things on the above list makes you better at the one skill that directly increases income, boosts confidence, and creates opportunities.
Human conversation.
Not messaging.
Not posting.
Not reacting.
Conversation.
The single biggest lesson of 2025 was not about AI, rates, marketing, or tactics.
It was about initiated action.
The people who grew, who blew up in a good way, did one thing consistently.
They picked up the phone.
Not randomly.
Not when they felt like it.
At the same time.
Every weekday.
10 calls.
At 10am.
No drama.
No optimization.
No waiting to feel ready.
Just reps.
Why does this work?
Because between 10am and noon, most people are awake, caffeinated, and receptive.
Because calls force listening.
Because rejection builds tolerance.
Because momentum compounds daily.
And because almost nobody actually does it.
If your phone isn't ringing, you should be making someone else’s ring.
That was true in 2025.
As it will be in 2026.
