Is This A You-Thing, Or A Me-Thing?

I return to this 'you-thing or me-thing' question often.
Which is important, both the question itself and my returning to it.
Because I do lose focus and wander from what matters.
I sometimes drift from 'you-topics' and stray to 'me-topics'.
And I know that the best moments are when the content serves us both, which is what I hope this post does.
What about you?
Are your actions focused on serving you?
Or on serving others?
You know what they say about the best way to get you want, right?
So here's one action you (and I) can take today that will improve your business, your skillset, and probably your life.
As well as your clients.
Doubtful?
Give it a try.
Yes it takes courage - you have it.
Yes it takes time - you have this to.
At 10am (or whenever works for you), pick up the phone and call ten people.
Not leads.
People.
Start with: 'How are you?'
And go from there.
10@10
Five days a week.
Fifty weeks a year.
That’s 2,500 conversations.
Some will create business.
Some will deepen relationships.
Some will teach you things. (Like what to ask, not just what to say)
You may help someone through a difficult day.
You may simply remind another human being that you thought about them.
You may pick up two refinances to close a purchase. (true story)
This action is about you.
This action is about your clients.
This action serves us all!
Them, you, even me.
In that order.
10@10.
Simple.
Not easy.
Go!
