Stop Working, Start Living (For Today)

These weekly posts, I usually write them on Saturdays.
Fresh served weekly.
Today is a stunning Saturday.
Although I'll admit that I slept in. Missed the morning.
Needed it I guess...
I’ve been building a 6-hour presentation.
That takes about 60 hours.
In addition to the regular day-to-day work.
(Edmonton, see you soon.)
These posts, the usually take 2–3 hours to knock out.
Write. Edit. Image. Post. Etc.
Even this one, arguably about nothing, is 45 minutes.
So why not spend another hour and make it meaningful?
Because it’s beautiful outside.
And movement matters.
Here’s the part that is useful:
If you’re working today, ask yourself one question:
Is this the highest value thing I could be doing right now?
If the answer is no, stop.
Go for a walk, a ride, a run, a paddle, a ski, a coffee, a chat...
Clear your head.
Come back and do one thing that actually moves your business forward.
Not five things.
One.
Then shut it down.
Rest is not weakness.
It’s fuel.
Get outside.
Move.
Monday will be better for it.
You will be for it.
